La Costa de Telde - Coast of Telde

 

Amanece dando un paseo en la costa de Telde mientras sale el sol. Empieza en La Garita y llega hasta Melenara.

Nuestro primer encuentro sería en la playa de La Garita, de la cual no podemos evitar mencionar su pasado marinero y pesquero donde varias familias vivían de la pesca. Esta hermosa playa, en forma de concha abierta y con arena oscura y fina, cuenta con una enorme avenida que recorre distintas playas de Telde.

Como elemento a destacar en la zona encontramos El Bufadero, que se trata de un enclave creado por la erosión de las mareas. Visítalo y déjate impresionar por este espectáculo natural.

Siguiendo nuestro camino llegamos a Hoya del Pozo, que posee uno de los búnker que se construyeron en toda Canarias durante la II Guerra Mundial.

El próximo punto a visitar es Playa del Hombre, en este lugar se celebran competiciones de surf y otros acontecimientos deportivos durante todo el año.

Casi llegando al final de nuestro recorrido podemos apreciar Taliarte que cuenta con diferentes charcas donde puedes darte un remojón y disfrutar de la fauna marina, además de realizar deportes acuáticos como el buceo.

Para acabar este relajante recorrido podemos disfrutar de un increíble almuerzo en los restaurantes que se encuentran en Melenara, y finalizar el día en su playa.

Start your day walking through the coast of Telde while the sun is rising. Begin your journey in La Garita until Melenara.

Our first location would be in the beach of La Garita because it is necessary to mention its historial past related to the sea where the families used to live from fishing. This wonderful beach its shaped like an open shell and its sand is dark and fine. Garita’s beach has an enormous avenue that goes through the different beaches of Telde.

As an element to highlight, we can find El Bufadero. This spot was created by the erosion of the tides. Visit it and feel the beauty of this natural phenomenon.

The next step is Hoya del Pozo, it has many bunkers, that was built in Canary Island during World War II.

We continue our tour, we get to the Hombre’s beach, in this place celebrate different sorts of surf competition and other sports events throughout the year.

We come to the end of our travel, we see Taliarte that has many different pools where you can take a bath and enjoy the marine fauna. Also, you can practice different kinds of watersports, such as diving.

To finish this wonderful route, we can enjoy an amazing lunch in Melenara’s restaurants and thre, you can swim in the sea too.
